International Management Assistants (IMA) is an international quality network of management support professionals. The main goal is the comprehensive maintenance and advancement of the professional expertise, personal development and networking crucial in the profession of executive assistants.
IMA was founded in 1974 under the name European Association of Professional Secretaries (EAPS); Finland joined the association in 1975. EAPS was re-named as European Management Assistants, EUMA in 1999 and since February 1, 2017 as IMA. IMA is currently represented in nearly 30 European countries and overseas too having over 1400 members.
IMA Finland has over 200 members from public and private sectors and offers its members a high quality international network alongside company visits and professional events.
IMA Finland's Vision Our vision is to create a network for Finnish executive-level assistans working in both private and public sectors, and to support their professional development.
IMA Finland's Mission Our Mission is to offer high-quality member events that increase the members' level of professional knowledge and broaden their outlook.
You will have up-to-date information regarding different professional developments and are welcome to join in custom-made training programmes, conferences and workshops. You will learn about culture and business life in all the member countries and meet members with a vast range of business knowledge and lifestyles. You will share a world-wide professional and personal network and take an active part in the recognition of the management assistant profession.
